Bisham: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan on Monday announced the construction of the Khwazakhela-Bisham Expressway during his visit to Shangla, according to media reports.

CM Mahmood Khan stated that the incumbent government is working for the development of all areas of the province. He also announced the upgradation of the District Headquarters Hospital Shangla, the development of a university, and the construction of two-degree colleges.
Moreover, the CM also announced the construction of different roads including Manglor Shangla Top, Karora to Ajmira, and Karora to Chakisar. It was also reported that CM announced PKR 300 million for different uplift projects in the provincial assembly constituency PK-24. During his visit, CM Khan announced the status of tehsil for Kana as well. Further, he ordered the authorities to start work on the Puran grid station.
Former Minister Abdul Muneem, Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Azizullah Gran, Provincial Minister Shaukat Yousafzai, and MPA Fakhar Jehan accompanied the CM.

Talking about the development projects in Shangla, the chief minister disclosed that several development projects worth PKR 21 billion were approved in the last three years. He added that four projects had been approved for the development of roads leading to tourist destinations. The province will emerge as an industrial and tourist hub in the coming years and will provide employment opportunities, added CM Khan.
