Bajaur: The Deputy Commissioner’s office shared that the construction work has started on the Khar Bypass Road as a part of the 71-kilometre-long Timergara-Khar-Mamad Gat Road, according to news published in the national dailies on February 27.

As per the details, all the issues have been settled, which caused the delay in the construction of the Khar Bypass road. The work commenced after successful talks with all the stakeholders. The district administration team mentioned that the stakeholders have agreed to demolish the structures that were in way of the proposed route of the said road and ensure smooth construction.

Reportedly, the work on the Khar Bypass road was scheduled to start in November last year, but it was delayed to resistance from the owners of bus stands in the Jinnah Bus Terminal, transporters, and locals of the surrounding areas.
