Islamabad: The Islamabad district administration has put a ban on construction and harvesting on the land acquired by the Capital Development Authority (CDA) in Saidpur Village and Noorpur Shahan. The order came into force with immediate effect and will last till March 3, 2017.
According to details, the action has been taken under Section 144 CrPC 1898. Reportedly, the district magistrate Islamabad was informed by the CDA that harvesting and illegal construction activities were being carried out in Saidpur Village and Noorpur Shahan.
The CDA is currently taking actions against encroachments in the federal capital, which is a problem the authority has been trying to deal with from the last couple of decades.
