Sialkot: Deputy Commissioner Shah Mir Iqbal shared that construction is underway on six highways under the Punjab government’s city package to transform Sialkot, according to the news source on November 15.

As per the details, a meeting was held at the DC Office on Tuesday, where the deputy commissioner revealed that the estimated cost for constructing these six highways under the city package is PKR 1,091 million. The primary objective of this project is to enhance the infrastructure of this industrially significant city.

During the meeting, directive was issued to complete the ongoing construction work by mid-December. Iqbal emphasized that daily monitoring is in place to ensure the timely completion of the package.
