Lahore: The Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA) arranged the fifth meeting of Heritage Conservation Board (HCB) on 17th May 2018 to discuss the conservation plan for Walled City, according to a news report.
This meeting was headed by HCB Chairman Mian Yousaf Sallah-ud-Din and the agenda of discussion was the Master Conservation Plan of the Walled City, documentation and investigative test pits in Lahore Fort’s Summer Palace, and Sheesh Mahal and adding portraits inside the Fort as plausible methods to strengthen tourism.
The Director General of WCLA Kamran Lashari, along with various other dignitaries have agreed to send this plan to the Chairman of the authority for final approval.
