Faisalabad: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) City welcomed the computerisation of its digital record system on Tuesday, reported a new source. The inauguration of the system was carried out by FDA Director Yawar Hussain.
The ceremony was attended by notable figures representing the different departments of the city as well as directorates of the FDA.
Speaking at the occasion, Hussain said that the days for manual record-keeping are over and in order to ensure safety of land record and the files of the land allotees, the new system has been introduced.
He further added that computerisation of these records will help curb fraudulent activities in the sale and purchase of properties in FDA City. The new system is also meant to bring transparency in the buying and selling procedure and provide the much-needed safety measures for investment worth the billions poured into the property sector.
