Karachi: The Head of Karachi Water Commission Justice (retd.) Amir Hani Muslim has ordered that the system of supply and division of water is to be computerised, according to a news report. Muslim heard the matter relating to hurdles in division of water on Monday in Sindh High Court. Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar and others attended the hearing.
According to the details, the Water Commission head ordered that meters are to be installed to measure water supply and division, and also instructed that the details about pumping stations should be made available on the official website. The Municipal Secretary told the commission that funds can only be released after approval by the technical committee.
