Karachi: Prime Minister (PM) Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar directed the relevant authorities to expedite the completion of the Karachi-Chaman Highway, as per the news reported on January 9.

PM Kakar highlighted the pivotal role of robust road infrastructure in fostering the development and progress of a country, particularly in areas with the potential for foreign investment. He underscored the significance of enhanced road connectivity in Balochistan to ensure seamless integration with the rest of the nation.

During the meeting, the premier stressed the need for meticulous planning and efficient resource utilization in formulating a comprehensive policy for the road network. The attendees included Caretaker Minister for Communication Shahid Ashraf Tarar, Finance Minister Dr Shamshad Akhtar, Planning Minister Sami Saeed, NHA chairman, and other relevant officials.
