Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Jinnah Avenue Interchange and F-10 Roundabout projects on Thursday, directing authorities to expedite work while maintaining high construction standards.
During the visit, Naqvi emphasized the need for swift completion, setting a deadline for the Jinnah Avenue Flyover to be opened for traffic by the second week of February. He also instructed officials to complete the F-10 Roundabout expansion project by the first week of February.
Naqvi stressed that both speed and quality must be ensured, adding that beautification efforts, including tree plantation and horticulture, should progress alongside construction. The minister reviewed the ongoing work and inspected the completed base slab of the box girder for the Jinnah Avenue Flyover.
Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa briefed Naqvi on the projects’ progress, assuring that work is on track. Federal Secretary Home Khurram Ali Agha, officials from the Capital Development Authority (CDA), and senior NESPAK representatives were also present.
Naqvi stated that once completed, these projects will significantly ease traffic congestion, providing a smooth travel experience while saving time and fuel for commuters.
