Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has made it mandatory for owners of all public, private, corporate, commercial, residential and industrial buildings to acquire a completion certificate, reads a news report.
The new rule is being implemented under the CDA Building Act.
According to details, the certificate should be sought within 15 days. In case of any delay, legal action will be taken against the buildings’ owner. In order to apply for this certificate, the applications are to be submitted at the CDA’s front desk or at the one window operation cell.
The application has to be filled and submitted through Forms B-1 and B-2 along with the signatures of both the allottee and the attorney.
