A two-judge bench of the apex court, headed by Justice Gulzar Ahmed issued orders on a case pertaining to the OLMT project. The bench expressed displeasure over the delay.
It directed the three construction companies to submit guarantees worth PKR 10 million each. The apex court warned that it would take possession of their guarantees in case of non-compliance of its orders.
The judges remarked that Justice (retired) Jamshed or Justice Abdul Sattar Asghar should be appointed the head of the technical committee on the OLMT project in case the current head Justice Zahid Hussain do not want to continue with his role.
