Islamabad: The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has said that an amendment in company registration procedures will reduce incorporation time, according to a news report. Procedures for reserving the name of proposed company and applying for its incorporation have been combined, a statement by SECP said. Moreover, the statement said that as a result of the amendment, company registration can be completed in four working hours through eServices now.
A statutory regulatory order has been issued for the amendment. According to new rules, a company’s promoters can submit a single application for three proposed names of the company and incorporation application.
