Quetta: Quetta Commissioner Usman Ali Khan has formed a committee to seek recommendations for fixing parking and encroachment issues in the city, a news source reported. He issued the directives while presiding over a meeting held to review major issues that the citizens of Quetta face.

Addressing the meeting, Khan vowed to utilise all resources to restore Quetta’s beauty. He also announced that the authorities will take strict action against encroachment activities. Other attendees of the meeting included, Quetta Deputy Commissioner Aurangzaib Badini, Quetta Development Authority Secretary Hashim Khan Kakar, Quetta Administrator Tariq Javed Mengal, and other notable officials from traffic police and district administration.

The commissioner directed the committee members to share their recommendations on addressing encroachment, cleanliness, parking and traffic issues in the city. He also sought suggestions regarding the ongoing expansion and construction of U-turns on many city roads.
