Kohat: District Development Advisory Committee (DDAC) Chairman Ziaullah Bangash has approved PKR 60 million development projects for Kohat, according to news published in the leading newspaper on June 2.

DDAC Bangash chaired a review meeting at the office of Deputy Commissioner Roshan Mehsud. During the meeting, the head of departments briefed the DDAC on the ongoing development projects. The DDAC directed the relevant authorities to speed up the work on the projects for timely completion. Moreover, the DDAC Bangash mentioned that after the completion of Kacahi Road, work on Khawaja Abad, Chargbagh, Ambar Banda, Marai, Hospital, and Junglekhel roads will be started.

Earlier, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government approved PKR 200 million funds for the rehabilitation and construction of new roads in the PK-82 constituency. The Provincial Minister of Irrigation Arshad Ayub Khan Orakzai announced that a cadet college will be established in the Orakzai district in order to provide quality education to locals.
