Lahore – Lahore High Court (LHC) has summoned the commissioner of Lahore Division after receiving a petition against the acquisition of his land for the development of Metro Bus project.
The petitioner has claimed that the government acquired his land of 19 marlas near Qurataba Chowk in Mozang without paying any compensation and fulfilling any of the related prerequisites. He also said that no notice was issued to him before the acquisition of land.
Addressing to this petition, LHC has summoned the Commissioner of Lahore Division on 18th April, 2014 to look into the matter.
