Lahore: The Lahore Commissioner Dr Mujtaba Piracha has called for town planning and urban management policies to be streamlined, a news source reported. He also stated public and private sector housing schemes should be regulated. He felt this will provide a resolution to all urban issues faced in Lahore.
He was speaking at a meeting that was attended by Lahore Mayor, and representatives of Urban Unit, City Admin, Punjab Safe City Authority, PHA, SNGPL, Lesco, LDA and traffic police. He stated that NOC for the housing schemes should be granted with the approval of all agencies, so they could meet the required standards.
