Lahore: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has decided to introduce an amnesty scheme for defaulters of commercialisation fee, reported a news source. The amnesty scheme will also help the civic authority cope with increasing its revenue.
The amnesty scheme will be meant for the owners of properties that are being permanently used for commercial purposes. The detailed proposal regarding this scheme has been formed and sent to the LDA Governing body for further approvals.
Under this scheme, the property owners will pay the due amount in terms of commercialisation fee plus 16% of this amount and get a certificate issued to them. The final approval regarding the scheme will be made by during the LDA Board Meeting.
