Karachi: To curb crimes in the city, a command and control system has been established in Karachi’s District Central, according to a news report. Under the system, trackers have been installed in 200 automobiles and 90 motorcycles in 23 police stations in Karachi’s central district.
Police automobiles are also being monitored. Senior Superintendent of Police (Central) Dr. Rizwan stated that this will reduce the street crime by 50%. Under the command and control system, cases will be filed via phone for the victims of street crimes, and the FIR will be delivered to their homes.
