After the booming success of Bahria town in Lahore and Islamabad the developer tested waters in Karachi and received such a booming response that made the property tycoon, Malik Riaz, think of more projects in the other populated cities of Pakistan.
In a recent advertisement of Bahria Town, in which the development authority was thanking the residents of Karachi for the enthusiastic response which the projects of Bahria in Karachi received, the developer announced plans of further projects in the other renowned cities of Pakistan. Hyderabad, Sukkur, Nawabshah and Peshawar were the cities in which Bahria town promised further developments as coming soon but how soon no one knows yet. Perhaps the only major city left in which Bahria Town hasn’t announced anything is Quetta.
The Pakistani population is no doubt benefitting from the unique residential projects forwarded by the Bahria Town developments but the experiment in Karachi did prove quite successful in fact a bit more successful than anyone would have thought. It was probably because of the tallest residential tower of Pakistan, the Bahria Icon, but in increasing amount of concern was seen in the Bahria Town Karachi as well even with the eyebrow raising fact that the location of the project was not mentioned. Encouraged Malik Riaz promised two more towers in Karachi namely Hoshang Pearl Karachi and Opel 225 Karachi. The Hoshan Pearl tower is planned to be located on Hoshang Road while the Opel 225 will be situated on Raja Ghazanfer Ali Road near Awari tower hotel.
Keeping in mind all the recent developments which came to Karachi like the waves which crash one after the other on its beaches, one thinks that what made Malik Riaz to concentrate so much on Karachi especially when the city in such a terrible condition. He may be working for the betterment of the country or to gain some extra profits while the people are distressed. No one knows what the real reasons are but it is a fact that developments are happening in Karachi and one must not give up this chance of investment because where it is, Bahria Town ranks above the rest from investment point of view.

About location, i am not certain but i have heard that the most suitable area for such high-end projects in Peshawar is Regi Lalma. I have also heard that (this news is also not confirmed) that Bahria Peshawar is to be launched in 2015.
