Lasbela: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday (August 10) said that the government is planning to convert the coastline of Lasbela and Gawadar into tourist hotspots, news sources reported. In this regard, the federal government will jointly work with the provincial government to bring experienced consultants for scientific and technological assessments and ideas to develop the area.

He said that after the development of the area, tourists from Muslim countries will come to the beeches and enjoy the scenic beauty of the coastal areas. Earlier in the day, the premier participated in the plantation ceremony at the Sonmiani Beach and said that there are several entertainment options in Lasbela, and the tourist development will bring wealth, job creation, and an expansion of healthcare and educational facilities.

Moreover, the premier praised the efforts of the people in participating in the reforestation campaign, which he believed are important to combat global warming. Furthermore, he stated that the development of Balochistan is critical to Pakistan’s prosperity, for which the government has allocated PKR 1 trillion for various development programmes.
