Karachi: Chief Minister (CM)’s Advisor on Law, Karachi Administrator, and Sindh Government spokesperson Barrister Murtaza Wahab on Wednesday visited different areas of Karachi including Garden, Tower, Pak Colony, Hawksbay Road, and Keamari and reviewed progress on various projects, according to news sources.

Karachi Administrator checked the construction work on a 6-kilometre long highway from Ghani Chowrangi to Labour Square Hub River Road, which is being built at the cost of PKR 400 million. Previously, the road had potholes of two and a half feet, which made it not suitable for traffic. It was reported that carpeting will start within a week.
During his visit, Karachi Administrator Wahab inspected the construction work on the site of Hawksbay road along with reviewing drainage arrangements in the city. He disclosed that the construction of Hawksbay Road is complete and installation of street lights and tree plantation should start immediately.
While visiting the Pak Colony, Wahab stated that a park will be developed on 162 acres of land in Gutter Bagheecha. He also mentioned that the existing 10-acre park will be restored and open to the public. Additionally, Trans Lyari Park will also be improved and the other two parks will be restored. Moreover, the administrator ordered the removal of slogans from the city walls to beautify the city.

Sindh Special Assistant to Chief Minister (SACM) Asif Khan, District Commissioner Mukhtar Abro, Municipal Commissioner district Keamari Afaq Saeed, Karachi Development Authority (KDA) and Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) officials accompanied the Karachi Administrator.
