Lahore: Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister (CM) Mohsin Naqvi actively pushes for the timely completion of the “Controlled Access Corridor Band Road Project,” taking significant steps to oversee its progress, according to a news article on January 23.

In a thorough inspection covering 8 kilometres, CM Naqvi evaluated the project’s various locations, noting that 55% of Package 2 (Babu Sabu to Sagian) and 74% of Package One (Sagian to Niazi Chowk) have been successfully executed. During the inspection, he closely monitored the ongoing work on both Package Two and Package One, emphasising the need to expedite the construction process.

Specifically, CM Naqvi directed an acceleration of progress in Package Two and urged the deployment of additional labour for a prompt completion. Expressing a clear directive, CM Naqvi instructed the completion of work on both packages by the first week of February, stressing the utilisation of all available resources to open the corridor for traffic.
