Karachi: The Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah stated in a meeting that for development projects with concerns to water and road, he would be seeking help from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), stated a news report. This statement has come while Shah was having a meeting with the ADB delegation, led by Werner Liepach, the Director General for Central and West Asia Regional Development (CWRD).
The delegation consisted of a number of other dignitaries from the ADB and Pakistan’s government. Shah expressed his plans for improving public transportation, water supply and sanitation. The Sindh Provincial Road improvement project costs USD 227.5 million and consists of six roads of 328 kilometres. The Karachi Metrobus Project’s Red Line is also a part of this, running from Model Colony to Numaish.
