The roadshow will raise awareness of investment opportunities and encourage corporations to invest in projects. In an interview with a business delegation from the United Kingdom, CM Elahi stated that Punjab has established a ‘One Stop Shop Service’ to assist all investors, specifically focusing on foreign direct investment (FDI). He stated that RUDA and CBD Punjab intend to introduce innovation to Pakistan’s real estate market through climate-resilient infrastructure and skyscrapers. He also mentioned that Saudi Arabia and Malaysia had already invested billions of dollars in the project. He emphasized that investors in RUDA and CBD will have complete investment protection.
He further stated that over 3,000 businesses have shown interest in RUDA, while the Lahore Central Business District Authority (CBD) has received investment bids totalling over USD 700 million.

It is worth noting that RUDA and CBD Punjab are two of the Punjab government’s flagship real estate development projects aimed at promoting the real estate sector. The project includes vertical residential structures in Gulberg and along the Ravi River, with a particular emphasis on climate change. Special industrial zones with green spaces are also a component of the project.
