Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak performed groundbreaking of the University Road widening project on March 9, per a news source.
Speaking at the occasion, the CM said that the project has been undertaken to allow smooth movement of 100 air-conditioned buses on the road.
Talking about other development projects, the CM stated that work for the improvement of corridor-2 from Chamkani to Hayatabad would commence next year and Asian Development Bank would provide financial assistance for the project.
Reportedly, provincial ministers, parliamentarians, government officers and Peshawar Development Authority Director General Mohammad Saleem Watto attended the ceremony.
