Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch has ordered an investigation into the allotment of plots in Gwadar’s industrial zone and has imposed a ban on new allotments in the area until the inquiry is completed.
According to a news source, these developments took place during a meeting arranged to discuss issues related to the port city. The chief minister directed officials to submit two lists immediately; one of all allotments in the industrial zone, and another of those who had violated the terms and conditions of allotment.
He also expressed concerns about irregularities related to the transfer of land in the Karwat area of Gwadar district and emphasised that land be taken back from illegal occupants as soon as possible.
