Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Mohsin Naqvi visited sites of ongoing development projects including Akbar Chowk flyovers and motorway projects, reported by a news source on October 23.

The news source mentioned that CM Naqvi drove through the flyover to inspect the project, ensuring first-hand that the construction was progressing as planned. He emphasized the urgency of completing the remaining construction and restoring College Road promptly. He stressed the need for expeditious asphalt work on the bridge, urging the team to finish the other side of the flyover as soon as possible. He announced that the project would be open for traffic by mid-November.

CM Naqvi also took a moment to inspect the under-construction dual road linking Gujranwala with Lahore-Sialkot Motorway, setting a deadline for its opening on December 25. Aerial inspections were conducted to ensure the swift progress of the 15.2 km road project, which would significantly reduce travel time between Lahore and Gujranwala.
