Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah On Sunday (March 06), ordered the administration to expedite work on the Hawkesbay and Sher Shah roads and complete it by June 30, news sources reported. He gave directions while visiting Machli Chowk, Liari and Kakari Ground areas.

Reportedly, CM Murad directed Karachi City Administrator Murtaza Wahab to speed up the work during his visit. He examined the following construction projects:
- The PKR 700 million Kakri Ground Complex project includes the construction of a state-of-the-art football stadium, a new pavilion with all basic facilities, the development of a football practice ground, the rehabilitation of a boxing club and karate academy.

- The PKR 840 million Hawkesbay Road project involves the renovation of the current 5.59-kilometre-long carriageway from Machhli Chowk to KANUPP
- The PKR 439.68 million road construction project from Sher Shah Chowk to the intersection of Mirza Adam Khan Road and the installation of a storm-water drain
- The PKR 995.46 million project in Lyari for constructing three roads: Tannery Road, Chakiwara Road, and Mehrab Khan Essa Road.
