As per details, this innovative initiative aims to provide secure, easy access to land records, offering citizens a streamlined, technology-driven solution for managing property information. The Jaidad Card, initially launching in KP’s merged districts, will function as an e-passbook, allowing citizens to access their land records instantly by scanning a QR code on the card with a smartphone. In addition to enabling convenient digital access, the Jaidad Card will safeguard land records from tampering and manipulation, strengthening transparency and trust in property ownership documentation.
The decision was announced during a Board of Revenue meeting chaired by the Chief Minister at the CM Secretariat, attended by key provincial officials, including Revenue Minister Nazir Abbasi and Senior Member of the Board of Revenue, Syed Imtiaz Hussain Shah. Briefing the participants, CM Gandapur emphasised that the Jaidad Card will support the provincial government’s efforts to modernize land administration, making record access and property ownership seamless for citizens.

The Jaidad Card will also contain a comprehensive record of each property owner’s land holdings across districts, with a mobile app available for easy verification. This reform, rooted in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), aims to enhance transparency and make property disputes easier to resolve.
The Chief Minister directed all relevant authorities to expedite the formal launch, ensuring that citizens benefit from this modern system without delay.
