As per details, the Dastak project, which has shown excellent results, is part of a broader initiative to modernise government services and reduce corruption. The LDA’s new online system allows citizens to handle their residential building map approvals from the comfort of their homes using either the LDA mobile app or website(www.lda. gop.pk). The system encompasses everything from submitting requests and uploading maps to processing approvals and handling payments.
Citizens can also manage corrections online and download their approved maps directly.
The aim is to shift away from traditional file-based processes and improve service delivery by leveraging technology. She also noted that these IT-based initiatives are designed to combat corruption and reduce dependence on agents.
