Quetta: The Balochistan Chief Minister (CM) Jam Kamal Khan has stated that the province needs to boost its revenue from natural resources, a news source reported. He stated that Balochistan is paying PKR 23 billion in pensions. He added that this figure will increase to at least PKR 200 billion by 2025. He suggested that the government needs to work on meeting this requirement by exploiting the province’s natural resources.

The CM was attending the inauguration ceremony of the Online Tax Collection system.
During his address, he informed that Balochistan is currently functioning on PKR 15 billion. The government plants to increase its annual income to PKR 40 billion by 2020.

He also talked about the steps taken by the provincial government to generate revenue, and provide jobs to locals. He announced the creation of 23,000 to 24,000 employment positions for the people of Balochistan by the end of February.
