Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan has inaugurated several uplift projects for the beautification of Peshawar, according to news published in the leading newspaper on December 22.

As per the details, the CM inaugurated the newly-established Institute of Criminology and Forensic Sciences at the University of Peshawar and performed the groundbreaking of various projects, worth PKR 3.23 billion. He also inaugurated the construction work on the establishment of the Technology Development Centre at Agriculture University, Peshawar.

CM Khan, speaking at the inauguration ceremony, stated that work on three important projects has started under Peshawar Uplift Programme Phase-II. He went on to say that completion of the projects will streamline the traffic and provide modern recreational facilities. The news source mentioned that minister laid the foundation stone for the Hayatabad trail under the Peshawar Uplift Programme Phase-II, which will be completed at the cost of PKR 1.22 billion. Also, CM Khan performed the groundbreaking for a project related to the beautification of the University Town and University Road and the construction of Palosai Road.
