Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif formally inaugurated the PKR 2.395 billion Jail Road signal-free corridor on February 22.
During the inauguration ceremony, the CM talked about the uniqueness of the project and its transparent completion process in line with all the necessary quality standards, reported a news source. He also stressed upon the importance of public welfare projects.
Reportedly, the 7.5-kilometre long corridor has 12 U-turns.
After the ceremony, the CM visited the Gulberg overpass.
