Chaman: Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti inaugurated the Chaman Master Plan Project on Thursday during his visit to the border town of Chaman, as reported on July 2.

According to the details, significant development aims to transform Chaman into a major border trade hub, moving away from its reputation as a center for smuggling. The Chaman district which borders Afghanistan recently experienced an eight-month protest by the local business community. CM Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti inaugurated the Chaman Master Plan Project, highlighting its potential to transform Chaman into a legitimate trade hub and create employment opportunities for locals. CM Bugti emphasised the government’s awareness of local challenges and the development schemes’ role in ensuring economic stability for the area’s residents.
