According to the details available, the CM assigned four major tasks to the LDA. These included the repair and patchwork of roads, repair of footpaths (including the task of changing curb stones where required), lane marking on the roads, and the beautification of underpasses.
The work on these tasks is expected to begin later this month — with all the projects estimated to be completed within two months. The CM has also issued instructions to the officials concerned to submit a comprehensive report once all the tasks have been completed.
