Faisalabad: Chairperson Brigadier Babar Alauddin (retd) of the Punjab Chief Minister’s Directorate of Inspection, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Feedback emphasised Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s commitment to providing essential amenities to citizens, as reported on October 15.

He noted that focused efforts are being made to improve sewerage, water supply, afforestation, and infrastructure development in public services. During a special meeting held at the WASA head office, Brigadier Alauddin highlighted the distinct challenges Faisalabad faces compared to other districts in Punjab. He urged all relevant public service agencies, including FDA, WASA, PHA, and the Municipal Corporation, to intensify their efforts in addressing citizens’ concerns and delivering timely relief with maximum efficiency.
Brigadier Alauddin also stressed the importance of activating front desks in these institutions and establishing dedicated one-window service desks to cater specifically to overseas citizens. This initiative aims to streamline services and enhance the overall public experience.
