Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan chaired a review meeting of New Peshawar Valley City and gave a deadline to the Peshawar Development Authority to issue intimation letters for land acquisition, according to news published on July 18.

CM Khan was briefed about the progress of the housing project and was informed that the intimation letters were ready under the land sharing formula. The minister asked the Peshawar Development Authority to issue letters by July 25. During the meeting, it was decided that a place for the site office of the project will be decided soon. The PC-1 for the construction of the site office has already been prepared.
Moreover, the attendees were notified that the deputy commissioner has verified 13,898 kanals of land for the housing project. The minister directed the relevant authorities to arrange a temporary site office. He also ordered the authorities to ensure fast construction of the permanent site office.

Additionally, the CM mentioned the flagship housing project of the province is a priority for the government and all necessary steps were taken for completing it within a stipulated timeline.
