Gujranwala: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Mohsin Naqvi visited Gujranwala where he announced two additional projects, which include the construction of an overhead bridge on GT Road and the renovation of the Qila Chand Bypass, as per the news published on December 9.

The CM visited the project site of Gujranwala Motorway Link Road project to inspect the ongoing construction. He anticipated the completion of the said road project within the next month. Emphasizing the importance of maintaining high construction standards, he directed the relevant authorities to utilize additional resources to ensure the timely completion of the project.

While addressing the media, CM Naqvi highlighted the rapid progress of the construction of a two-lane road, costing PKR 7.887 billion. A Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) official informed the CM about the swift construction of the 15.2-kilometre long approach road, with completed earthwork on the segment from Benazir Chowk to Wahndo Interchange.
