The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has already prepared the feasibility report for the proposed project — with the authority also having been tasked with managing the venture’s development. The flyover is expected to benefit 126,000 vehicles directly per day and 180,000 vehicles indirectly.
According to the designs prepared for the project, a dual lane flyover is expected to be constructed between the Sheranwala Gate and the Railway Station. The suggested width of both lanes is 8.2 metres, with the authorities hoping to acquire 4 kanals from Sheranwala and 34 kanals from the Railway Station area for the construction of this flyover.
