Faisalabad: The Faisalabad Municipal Corporation, under the auspices of the Prime Minister’s ‘Clean Green Pakistan’ campaign, has begun conducting surveys in order to begin work on the upgradation of toilets in public places and service stations, with the project coming under the umbrella of the Prime Minister’s Clean, Green Pakistan project – a news source reported.

The project is meant to improve Faisalabad’s position on the Prime Minister’s Clean, Green Index and the survey has been conducted for this purpose.
When the citizens were interviewed about the development, they expressed their satisfaction at the news that toilet facilities will be available on highways, at services stations and other public places. However, at the same time, they were of the view that the departments will have to remain vigilant to keep these services up to the mark.

Municipal Corporation Chief Officer Sardar Naseer told the media that all the work on the new public toilets has been completed, and they will be made available to the public soon.
