Faisalabad: Faisalabad Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sardar Saifullah Dogar has launched a Clean & Green campaign in the city, reported a news source. The DC also laid the foundation stone for a masjid in National Hospital, Jinnah Colony. This development took place during the DC’s visit to the hospital.

In addition to the mosque, Dogar also inaugurated a pharmacy in the medical centre. During this visit, Faisalabad Additional Deputy Commissioner Finance Asma Ijaz Cheema, National Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Muhammad Ahmed Khan, and several doctors employed in the facility, joined the senior official’s retinue.

During the trip, DC Dogar inspected various hospital departments, and took note of the medicines available in the pharmacy. He expressed his satisfaction over the overall cleanliness situation at the facility. He also gave directives for the timely completion of the masjid, while appreciating the public’s interest in funding its construction.
The DC also instructed other government departments and public offices to participate in the plantation campaign. To formally kick start the initiative, Dogar planted a tree in the hospital’s courtyard.
