Lahore: The city district administration has repossessed 516 kanals of state land, a news source reported. The land was retrieved from land grabbers in a day-long operation in Lahore.
According to a spokesman of the city administration, the operation was conducted by a team led by Model Town’s Assistant Commissioner (AC). They conducted the operation at village Assu, and retrieved 500 kanals of agricultural land.
The team also demolished structures, animal sheds, and other constructions. Another operation was also conducted in Bagrian by a team led by Shalimar AC. The team repossessed 16 kanals of state land.
