Peshawar: While heading a meeting with the Information Technology Board of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Monday, Chief Minister (CM) KP Mahmood Khan said that citizen facilitation centres and digital reporting hubs will be opened across the province, a news source reported. The provincial government of KP has made this decision in an attempt to make problem resolution easier for the public.

During the first phase of the project, which is expected to be launched during the current fiscal year, these facilities will be set up only in Peshawar. In the coming fiscal year, the project will be expanded to all divisional headquarters, including the tribal districts.

During the meeting, digitisation of various projects in KP was discussed. The CM was updated on Itlah, the digital reporting centres setup for police stations across the province. He was also briefed on various other projects, including the establishment of an E-Office and digital unit at the CM Secretariat, the Peshawar Smart City Project, establishment of online recruitment portals for government jobs, and online registration for businesses, among others.
