Lahore: The Lahore Chambers of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Acting President Khawaja Khawar Rasheed has called circular debt a financial threat, according to a news source. He demanded that immediate steps be taken to tackle the issue.
He also stated that power generation will be reduced because of the large circular debt and everyone including businesses, industries and general public will suffer. He added that the easy way out of increasing the power bills is not the way to go in such a case. The practice of charging the public for line losses is a bad practice.
