The post declared that the LDA has finalised an agreement with Chiniot Housing Scheme, a copy of which will be shared with the Lahore High Court (LHC). Once the legal aspects of the agreement are addressed, plot allotees of LDA Avenue-I will receive confirmation on their plots. The post further revealed that as per the directives of the LHC, the ballot to allocate plot numbers to the remaining plot holders will be conducted.
The management of Chiniot Housing Scheme and LDA finalised this arrangement earlier in June this year. Under this arrangement, the former surrendered its 1,675 kanals of land in favour of LDA Avenue-1 along with a 120-kanal farmhouse, which the LDA will convert into 100 plots.
