Lahore: The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has invited Chinese investors to establish manufacturing units in Pakistan, highlighting the economic benefits of industrial relocation.
During a meeting with a Chinese delegation led by Hassan Zia Khan, LCCI President Mian Abuzar Shad, Senior Vice President Engineer Khalid Usman, and Vice President Shahid Nazir Chaudhry emphasized Pakistan’s strategic advantages. They cited the country’s favorable geographic location, cost-competitive workforce, and investor-friendly policies as key factors that make it an ideal destination for industrial expansion.
The LCCI representatives assured the delegation of full support in facilitating business entry, navigating regulatory processes, and addressing potential challenges. They also highlighted the government’s efforts to enhance the investment climate, including the establishment of Special Economic Zones (SEZs) and various tax incentives.

The Chinese delegation acknowledged Pakistan’s potential as a regional trade hub and expressed keen interest in exploring investment opportunities. They noted that Pakistan’s growing economy, coupled with its strong ties with China under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), provides a solid foundation for long-term collaboration.
LCCI Executive Committee members Amina Randhawa, Khurram Lodhi, and Ahsan Shahid stressed that Chinese industrial relocation would not only strengthen bilateral trade but also contribute to technology transfer, skill development, and economic growth in Pakistan.
