Lahore: A Chinese delegation on Saturday met Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and expressed interest to invest in the province’s housing and agriculture sectors – a news source reported.

The delegation comprised representatives of the China Engineering Corporation and Henan DR Construction Group. Its 12 members included China Engineering Corporation Chairman Zhang Chun and Vice President Fang Yanshui, Henan D R. Construction Group Chairman Huang Dao Yuan, and Deputy Chairman Cheng Cunpan.
These members said that they would provide the technology required to develop and promote the two sectors. Moreover, they also stated their intention to initiate work on a housing industrial park. Furthermore, they briefed Buzdar with regard to the progress on a 1,263MW power project in Jhang.

In response, the Chief Minister welcomed Chinese investment in the housing and agriculture sectors. He said that the provincial government will facilitate the foreign investors and businessmen in every possible way.
