Karachi: Chinese health experts – concerned about the coronavirus spread in Pakistan – suggest imposition of strict rules to enforce social distancing and conducting mass testing to get out of the COVID-19 crisis, a news source reported.

As per the publication, these health experts played an important role in tackling the situation post COVID-19 breakout in Wuhan – reported in December 2019. While speaking to media persons at a hotel in Karachi on Wednesday, they highlighted that the Government of Sindh needs to increase its testing capacity and urged for a more strict and meaningful lockdown, as per the needs of the hour.

They also requested the local government to set up special clinics across the province to test more people at a faster rate. Furthermore, they also advised the masses to wear face masks and pay no heed to unproven theories regarding the COVID-19 pandemic – since the countries with hot weather were also reporting a rise in the number of COCID-19 cases.
