Karachi: The Business Association of Builders and Developers (ABAD) has invited Chinese companies to create avenues for bridging the gap of 12 million housing units in Pakistan, according to a news source. This invitation was extended by Chairman ABAD Arif Yousuf Jiwa during Pak-China Construction Conference arranged by ABAD. The event was held on 15th March 2018 and present at the occasion were various dignitaries from both organisations.
Arif Jiwa highlighted that Pakistan has a shortage of 12 million housing units, and that to bridge this gap PKR 1.8 billion is needed. He also added that Pakistan presents multitude opportunities for Chinese investors and companies, most of which are operating in Pakistan by way of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
