Beijing: Senate Chairman Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani has expressed his hopes for seeing China to expedite work on construction of New Gwadar International Airport, reported a news source. He was visiting China on the invitation of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Chairman Wang Yang.
Sanjrani also met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, where he mentioned that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has across the board support in Pakistan, where all political parties and institutions are up for seeing smooth progress of CPEC projects.
Sanjrani also expressed his views about the need for concreted efforts to uplift Gwadar and other parts of Balochistan as the success of the CPEC is depends on development of these areas.
